Course Trial & Onboarding

To evaluate a course, instructors had to build it first, with no context and no guidance. Our staff often built courses for them, and the problem had gone unsolved for at least five years.

We had years of research but no clear problem statement, so I spent weeks with the product trio framing the problem before designing. Then we moved fast with a "remix" method: we tested several low-fi prototypes each week and combined the strongest parts into the next round.

What we shipped: a ready-made course that shows everything available up front, AI syllabus upload that generates a custom course, a mobile-friendly shop-to-trial flow, and onboarding with LMS integration and student enrollment so courses activate on their own.

The result: instructors can discover, evaluate, and adopt without talking to anyone. Sales can focus on complex committee adoptions, and Support and Training can focus on higher-value work.
